Embracing Resilience shares Elsa's story. A woman who found herself in an abusive relationship. Her high hopes of a caring and loving relationship were dashed by the reality and trauma of domestic abuse.

Elsa shares her journey including escaping and reporting the abuse, court trial, conviction and the task of rebuilding her life.

The author El Davies also shares her journey of healing, charting the deep lows of depression, suicidal ideation, self-harm and the impact domestic abuse had on her faith.

El experienced times where God felt distant but also times when God brought hope, encouragement and healing.
